Born and raised in Turin, Italy. During the university years his passion for photography begins to take a concrete shape through the attendance at several workshops held by Fulvio Bortolozzo, allowing him to improve and develop photography technics of his own. While completing his Master Degree in Architecture at the University of Architecture in Turin, he assisted architectural and industrial photographers in the Turin area. Soon thereafter he landed a job for the "Comune di Torino" during the Winter Universiadi 2007 (reportage of the events and the Look fo the City '07). Recently he has completed an important photo archive regarding Compagnia di San Paolo and its effort in renovation works throughout the Torino and Piedmont area. He also traveled around the world for Alpitour Catalogue 2008 as assistant. In 2006 Mattia becomes a professional photographer, and he dedicates himself to architecture photography (interiors and exteriors), landscape photography and sports photography, and at the same time he experiments new multimedia technics in photographic expression. In the past few years he has done several solo and group exhibitions (Latitudini, Palinsesti, Quadrature e Tracce Urbane, 2006 - Atelier 2007).
Since Aprile 2008 begins a new "Work-Partnership" with his friend photographer Angelo Morelli proposing travel photograhy, architecture photography, landscape photography and many multimedia content like V-Trip™.
Mattia has worked for both public and private institutions: FIAT Group, The Compagnia di San Paolo, ATRIUM Torino Foundation, Carlo Ratti Associati, Micrograf srl, LaPresse S.p.A. and City of Turin and Aosta.
